Costa Nabs SAAA Weekly Award Monday, August 4th, 2031 26-year-old Marcos Costa made a few Naperville headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Costa collected 1 home run, 7 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Costa is hitting .313 in 2031 with 40 RBIs and 4 home runs. |
