Naperville's Sakai Chosen SAAA Batter of the Month Friday, August 1st, 2031 Naohiro Sakai put together a good July to earn the USSL Triple A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Naperville officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Battlekings second baseman posted a .368 batting average with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Sakai is swinging at a .300 pace on the year with 10 home runs, 50 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has played in 66 games. |
