Phoenix No Match for Pringle Sunday, July 27th, 2031 Plymouth Rocks fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Octavius Pringle blanked the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves, 1-0 at Plymouth Quarry today. Pringle stopped them on 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 10. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Rocks skipper John Bush said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Pringle has made 8 starts, tossed 58 innings, struck out 47 batters and walked 13. His record is 4-3 with a 4.97 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .288 batting average.
