PAAA Honors Jersey City First Baseman Monday, September 8th, 2031 So far in his young career, Arturo Scantlebury has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Jersey City Tritons first baseman hit at a torrid .520 clip as he collected 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In 27 games Scantlebury is hitting .311 this season with 33 hits, 3 home runs, 17 RBIs, 8 walks, .359 OBP and has scored 15 runs. |
