Montoya Wins PAAA Best Player Award Monday, August 25th, 2031 At the age of 26, Orlando Montoya might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Tortolita third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .391 batting average. For his efforts Montoya collected the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Montoya has hit at a .298 clip with 19 RBIs, 7 home runs and 17 runs scored. |
