Muñóz Rips Phoenix for 5 Hits Tuesday, September 17th, 2030 Dogfish Head right fielder Sergio Muñóz had his way with Phoenix pitching today at Thunderbirds Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Hotspur Reserves ruined his great day by toppling the Dogfish Head, 13-12. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Phoenix credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Muñóz did today," Hotspur Reserves skipper Bill Clark said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Sergio Muñóz doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
