Belugas Chapon Gone for Year Friday, August 8th, 2031 The season is finished for Jean-François Chapon of the Brinkley Belugas. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Belugas reliever suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Houston BC. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. To date this year Chapon has won 3 and lost 2 with a 3.32 ERA, 19 saves and 33 strikeouts in 32 relief appearances. |
