Reliever Díaz Top 3AAA Pitcher in July Friday, August 1st, 2031 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Carlos Díaz, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Alaskan Humpbacks reliever, 29, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .248 average and walked away with the M3L Triple A Pitcher of the Month award for July. Díaz posted a 6-1 mark and a 2.20 ERA in 13 relief appearances. In 45 innings, he had 4 saves, 27 strikeouts, and 11 walks. Díaz has taken the hill for 30 relief appearances this season, nailing down 6 saves while notching a 10-3 record with a 2.56 ERA. The Alaskan reliever has limited opposing batters to a .248 batting average. |
