José Rico Named Premier 3AAA Player Tuesday, October 7th, 2031 At the age of 26, José Rico of the Sunset District Fog could very well have his best years ahead of him. It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2031 was good enough to win the first baseman the M3L Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach." The top hitter put up a .285 batting average this year, as well as a .418 on-base percentage. He played 98 games and racked up 97 hits, 11 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 72 RBIs and 72 runs scored. Mike Gardner of the Hamilton Coyotes finished second in voting, while Tim Stinson of the Alaskan Humpbacks finished third. |
