Oakland Hurler Wins Rookie Award Friday, August 1st, 2031 For a young man just making his way into the Menard's Third League, Felipe Lozano has shown incredible poise and confidence over the past month, netting him the coveted Rookie of the Month Award. In July he fashioned a 4-0 mark and a 1.40 ERA. The Oakland starter struck out 21 in 25.2 innings as he walked 9 and held opposing batters to a .242 average. Lozano has made 6 starts, tossed 34.2 innings, struck out 23 batters and walked 11. His record is 5-0 with a 1.56 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .263 batting average. |
