Bernard Named 3L Batter of the Month Friday, August 1st, 2031 Ron Bernard may be much younger than other hitters in the Menard's Third League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Kingston Township left fielder hit .385 with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 23 runs scored. This season Bernard is swinging the bat at a .297 rate with 78 hits in 263 at-bats. To date he has hit 14 home runs, scored 48 runs and driven in 44. |
