Ikeda Day-to-Day with Injury Sunday, September 28th, 2031 Buckhead's star reliever Yoshii Ikeda injured himself in a game against the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a sore shoulder and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Ikeda with a smile as he talked to reporters. To date this year Ikeda has won 2 and lost 5 with a 3.58 ERA, 6 saves and 34 strikeouts in 25 relief appearances. |
