Coss Rips Montana for 5 Hits Sunday, September 21st, 2031 Lakers third baseman Guillermo Coss had his way with Montana pitching today at Panda Park and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Pandas ruined his great day by toppling the Lakers, 8-6. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Montana credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Coss did today," Pandas skipper Andrew Schupick said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Guillermo Coss walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
