Ruíz and O'Flahavan Brawl, League Suspends Them Friday, September 5th, 2031 After an intense confrontation, both the Bowties Raúl Ruíz and the Renaissance Jimmy O'Flahavan were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Buckhead-Detroit game. Both players will miss 2 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Raúl Ruíz commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Ruíz is hitting .251 this year with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .324, 22 walks and scored 53 times.
