Harrell Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 18th, 2031 25-year-old Chris Harrell sent shock waves through Menard's Third League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Menard's Third League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Harrell made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .583 average, 7 hits in 12 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 runs batted in. Where the Echo Park Lakers shortstop goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Harrell certainly made his mark last week. Harrell is batting at a .285 pace this season, picking up 72 hits in 253 at-bats with 9 home runs, 38 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
