United States Silver League Names Rookie of Month Friday, August 1st, 2031 Youngster Shigenobu Ohayashi emerged as the latest United States Silver League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Chicago deserved the honor, batting .333 with 1 home run and 14 runs batted in. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Ohayashi enjoy the limelight. This year Ohayashi has hit at a .320 clip with 19 RBIs, 2 home runs and 15 runs scored. |
