Philadelphia 1776 No Match for Coffman Wednesday, July 30th, 2031 Walt Coffman kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the New Amsterdam Dutchmen were all smiles after winning 5-0 against the Philadelphia 1776 BC at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum today. The left-handed Coffman gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits and had 13 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Coffman said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
