SL Honors Athletic Club KC Center Fielder Monday, August 25th, 2031 One of the league's most exciting young players, Jesús Vargas of the Athletic Club KC earned himself United States Silver League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 25-year-old center fielder had a lofty .464 average (13-for-28), collecting 7 home runs, 16 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This year Vargas has collected a .336 batting average to date with 119 hits in 354 at-bats, 79 RBIs, 27 home runs and scored 67 times. He has played in 85 games. |
