Elías and Baldonado Brawl, League Suspends Them Monday, July 28th, 2031 After an intense confrontation, both the Blaze Ricardo Elías and the Hotspur U-21 Habakkuk Baldonado were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent South Beach-Phoenix game. Both players will miss 2 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Ricardo Elías commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Elías is hitting .274 this year with 2 home runs and 16 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .342, 17 walks and scored 27 times. In the current season in 14 starts, Habakkuk Baldonado has a record of 6-5 with 66 strikeouts in 92.2 innings and a 3.59 ERA. |
