Valentín Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 4th, 2031 Julián Valentín has been in a real groove lately. The 23-year-old Bellevue Bruins center fielder nabbed USSL Single A Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Valentín's hot streak featured 12 hits in 25 at-bats, no home runs, 4 RBIs, 6 runs scored and a .480 average. Valentín is batting at a .240 pace this season, picking up 60 hits in 250 at-bats with 4 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
