August's SA Top Pitcher is Cauldrons Hughes Monday, September 1st, 2031 In August, Chris Hughes tore through the USSL Single A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Hogsmeade starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 1.67 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 37.2 innings he collected 29 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .223 average. Over the season Hughes has thrown 136.2 innings and dished out 106 strikeouts with a 10-8 mark and a 3.03 ERA. |
