Gold Ball Winner Announced Sunday, November 9th, 2031 The Portland Evergreens have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Giovanni Mireles, this year's United States Premier League Gold Ball selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Mireles compiled a 12-4 record in 21 starts, tallied 155 strikeouts in 133 innings and recorded a 3.99 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .252 batting average against him. Wes Hamm of the Phoenix Hotspur finished second in voting, while Eric Matson of the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids finished third. |
