PL Pitcher of the Month Goes to Valdés Monday, September 1st, 2031 Francisco Valdés was the anchor in the Vancouver bullpen last month and snatched up the United States Premier League Pitcher of the Month honors for August. The 31-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 26 innings over 15 relief appearances and collected a 2-0 record with 27 strikeouts and 8 saves while etching his 1.04 ERA.
