Middies Get Past Richardson City for 8-7 Win
Richardson City designated hitter Tomás Martínez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Grafton at Field of the Middies. Martínez was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Grafton reliever Kenete Daku was credited with the win, to go to 3-5. Kelsey MacGillivary took the loss for Richardson City. Even with the win, the Middies have a dismal 20-40 record.

Pedro Santos, who is tied for 5th in the SL in extra base hits with 24, contributed to the Grafton win with a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI.
