Rocky Mountain got a terrific performance from designated hitter Ed Adams, but it wasn't enough to beat the Chicago Gold Sox. Chicago won the Gold Sox Field contest, 9-6. Chicago took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Gomez Talone hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Gold Sox.
