Portland Evergreens starter Jorge Otero turned in a top-notch performance against the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. The result was a win for the Evergreens, 4-2. Otero got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 6 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Otero allowed 2 earned runs. The Evergreens, now 13-3, have been red hot.
Billy Dotson, the four overall pick in the 2028 draft, aided the Portland cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth. For the game, the third baseman was 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
