Wizarding and Richardson City duked it out at The Thunder Dome and the Express came out victorious.
Wizarding beat Richardson City at The Thunder Dome, eking out a 7-6 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman António Martínez, who earned player of the game honors. Wizarding reliever Dorian Daly got the win, raising his record to 7-1. Andrés Martínez was tagged with the loss.
Wizarding grabbed control in the top of the eighth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Gonzalo Ángel delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Express.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Martínez told reporters after the game.
Wizarding is now 25-22, Richardson City 24-23.
