Vancouver first baseman David Edwards was the key at Atlantica today, being named player of the game as he powered the Grey Wolves to victory in a critical Game of the Round 2032. The Grey Wolves took the 4-2 win over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Edwards delivered in the top of the second inning for Vancouver. With the game tied and a runner on 1st, the first baseman hit a 2-run home run to left.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Edwards said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The next game is set to be played Wednesday, October 22nd, 2031 at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Slated to start are António Alomar for the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids and John Dempsey for the the Vancouver Grey Wolves.
