Seattle Wins Game in Extras; On Verge of R2033
The Seattle Aviators went into extra innings against the Vancouver Grey Wolves but ultimately moved to within one game of the Round 2033 today. The Aviators downed the Grey Wolves at Wolf Den in Vancouver by a score of 4-3. Seattle right-hander José Lucero was named player of the game after a solid outing in which he threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Aviators a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2032.

It could have been a different outcome for Seattle, had it not been for Jorge Mojica, the 11-year veteran . Mojica contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put Seattle up, 3-2.

In postgame comments, Lucero said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.

The next game is scheduled for Tuesday at Boeing Dome. Slated to start are John Dempsey for the Vancouver Grey Wolves and Rust Cohle for the the Seattle Aviators.
