Almost There: Detroit On Cusp of R2032 Triumph After 3-0 Win
Facing elimination, the Detroit Renaissance were looking for a savior. For today, at least, Jimmy O'Flahavan delivered.

At The Voodoo Lounge, the 26-year old pitched a game for the ages to fend off the New Orleans Voodoo and help the Renaissance close their deficit in the Round 2032. O'Flahavan threw a 9-inning, complete-game shutout in the 3-0 Detroit win, striking out 5 and allowing 6 hits. The Renaissance how trail - in the best-of- series.

The Voodoo had trouble solving O'Flahavan, who surrendered no earned runs on 6 hits over 9 innings.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," O'Flahavan told reporters after the game.
