The Buckhead starter rose to the occasion at Great Northern Field today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Bowties to a crucial 3-1 victory over the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. Hamilton threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball as the Bowties won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 2032.
The Northern Lions BC had few good swings against Hamilton, the left-hander, who threw 117 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 5 hits.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Hamilton told the Buckhead Daily News.
