Buckhead designated hitter Seishiro Nishimura pounded Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC pitchers at 5 Paces Park, but it was not enough to keep the Bowties from falling, 9-5 in Game of the Round 2032. Nishimura was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 and was named player of the game for his efforts, even as he saw the Bowties slip to a - deficit in the best-of- series.
Thunder Bay center fielder Carlos Germán helped the Northern Lions BC go up, 3-0, in the top of the second inning. With the game tied, Germán hit a 3-run home run off Buckhead pitcher Dale Hamilton.
"We don't have much margin for error now," Bowties manager Kerry Hofmeister said. "We need to figure out the problem and fix it, immediately."
