The Toledo Stingers faced a tough opponent in Wizarding Express pitcher Juan Cantú, but did just enough to pull out a win in Game of the Round 2032, which they now lead - . The Stingers won 3-2 at Platform 9 3/4, despite the Express getting a strong start from right-hander Cantú, who went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs.
Alfredo Martínez made it 3-2 in favor of Toledo when he delivered a 3-run home run. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Stingers went on to win.
"We don't have much margin for error now," Express manager Dan Cahill said. "We need to figure out the problem and fix it, immediately."
