Louisiana Breaks Through for First Win in 3L A Championship; Now Trails 2-1
The Louisiana Dragoons have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Kennesaw Jets, winning 6-2 at Jets Stadium today. Dragoons right-hander Bob Shepard was named player of the game after he threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Dragoons to 2-1 in the best-of-5 3L A Championship.

Mike Goff chipped in for Louisiana with a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Goff said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow. The scheduled starters for the game are Hyung-ki Kim for Louisiana and Júlio Gutiérrez for Kennesaw.
