Almost There: Wizarding On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 3-2 Win
The Wizarding Express are one game away from a sweep after a 3-2 win over the visiting Ft. Worth Cattlemen at Platform 9 3/4 today. Express right-hander Juan Torres was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball. Wizarding now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

José Corona, who is tied for 10th in the SL in stolen bases with 17, aided the Wizarding cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4 with a home run.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Torres said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
