In leading Vancouver to a crucial 5-2 victory over the Richardson City Thundercats at Wolf Den in Vancouver today, the Vancouver starter rose to the occasion, tossing 8 good innings and earning player of the game honors. Randall threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball as the Grey Wolves defended their home field to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 1.

In the bottom of the second, Vancouver center fielder Michael Malloy had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Malloy stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 3-1, Vancouver. For the game, he was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
