The Vancouver Grey Wolves moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the Richardson City Thundercats on the road at The Thunder Dome by a score of 9-6. Grey Wolves second baseman Terumoto Kurihara was named player of the game after he was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Grey Wolves a - advantage in the best-of- Round 1.

Kurihara had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Grey Wolves went on to win.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Kurihara.
