Pivotal Game Goes to Host Thundercats, 3-2
The Richardson City Thundercats are one game away from a sweep after a 3-2 win over the visiting Montana Pandas at The Thunder Dome today. Thundercats left-hander Stanford McCain was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings allowing 1 run. Richardson City now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

Richardson City took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With no one out, designated hitter Anselmo Berneu hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

Berneu said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
