Blitzed by Schnatter, BC, Aviators Sink Further in R1
|
Philadelphia 1776 BC second baseman John Schnatter was the difference-maker at Boeing Dome today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Silver League Championship. The BC took the 6-2 win over the Seattle Aviators to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
Schnatter had a clutch at-bat in the top of the second for the BC. Coming up with the bases loaded and Philadelphia 1776 trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
In comments to the Philadelphia 1776 Daily News, Schnatter admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
