Middies Win in Glorious Fashion
|
Grafton Middies starter Antonio Godfrey turned in an exceptional performance against the Toledo Stingers at Field of the Middies, resulting in a Grafton win, 3-2. Grafton bumps their record to 12-16 with the win.
Yataro Kodo was the walk-off hero for Grafton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Middies third baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"We won," Kodo told assembled media after the game. "I guess that's all that really matters."
