Almost There: Thunder Bay On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 4-1 Win
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the Grafton Middies on the road at Field of the Middies by a score of 4-1. Northern Lions BC right-hander Rodas Aguilar was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Northern Lions BC a - advantage in the best-of- Third League Championship.

Aguilar, a native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Grafton hitters off-balance, while giving the Northern Lions BC 8 quality innings. Aguilar threw 88 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 3.
