The Richardson City Thundercats downed the Wizarding Express, 8-6, at Platform 9 3/4. Eduardo Álvarez led the way, going 2-for-5 for Richardson City. Richardson City reliever Joe Pruitt was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Marcos Oquendo. With the win, the Thundercats improved to 15-12.

Felipe Campos's hit in the top of the 11th was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Marcos Oquendo for a run-scoring single. It put Richardson City in front, 6-5.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Imran Kopitar said.
