Stingers Turn Back Chicago, 2-1

Fans who came to Pacesetter Park watched the Toledo Stingers and the Chicago Gold Sox fight to the finish.
The Stingers faced a stiff challenge from Chicago pitcher Keisuke Nishida, but persevered to claim a win at Pacesetter Park. The final score was 2-1. Nishida went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The winner was Enrique Castro, who threw 112 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits. An Jang-Yop earned the save for Toledo, his 9th of the year.
Tural Bishara, who is tied for 10th in the SL in triples with 1, aided the Toledo cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 2-3 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Bishara told the Toledo News.
Toledo is now 15-11.
