Paílla Dazzles in Washington Win
|
Manuel Paílla never let the Black Cats get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Generals to a 5-0 win. Washington has now won 5 games in a row.
The Black Cats had little chance against Paílla, who overpowered Gwinnett County hitters and struck out 10.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Paílla told reporters after the game.
