The Washington Generals picked up a win at Washington Park, knocking off the Chicago Tula, 5-2. Starting pitcher Juan Carbajal played a key role in the triumph. Carbajal got the win, improving to 10-9. He allowed 5 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. Carbajal allowed 2 earned runs. Randy Gabaldon, credited with the save, is now 18 for 20 in save opportunities.
Dan Vanblarcom, who was drafted in the two round of the 2029 draft, aided the Washington cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs.
