Donoghue K's 13 En Route to 6-0 Generals Win
|
Washington right-hander Phillip Donoghue pitched his team to victory over the Chicago Tula at Washington Park. The final score was 6-0. The 'W' lifts Washington's record to 53-39.
Donoghue was in the zone all game. He frustrated Chicago hitters while giving the Generals 7.1 innings of quality work. Donoghue threw 115 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 13 punchouts.
