Sánchez Now 7-1 After Subduing Chukars
|
The South Beach Blaze picked up a win at Idaho Falls Park, knocking off the Idaho Falls Chukars, 7-1. Starting pitcher Juan Sánchez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Blaze have an impressive 59-33 record.
Sánchez, who is tied for 7th in the PA with a 2 complete games, pitched a complete game for South Beach. Sánchez surrendered 7 hits over 9 innings and struck out 13. With the win, he moves to 7-1 on the season.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Sánchez told the South Beach Bulletin.
