Blaze Shut Out Walleye

It was a fun time at The Ballpark on the Beach, where the Walla Walla Walleye and South Beach Blaze tangled.
Tony Sánchez pitched a gem to lead South Beach to a 3-0 victory over the Walla Walla Walleye. The Walleye, at 38-49, have lost 4 in a row.
The Blaze got a big at-bat from left fielder Ricardo Elías. For the game, Elías went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 14th double of the season gave South Beach a 2-0 lead.
"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Elías. "The only team that can beat us is us."
