The Wizarding Express eked out a 4-3 win versus the Philadelphia 1776 BC at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum. Nobody did more than center fielder Nathan Tanner, who captured player of the game honors. Dorian Daly closed the game out for Wizarding, earning his 3rd save. Wizarding is now 11-11, Philadelphia 1776 8-14.
This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the tenth, Ernesto Souza got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. The Express took the lead, 4-3.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Philadelphia 1776 skipper Mark Ligi, "and it cost us."
