Paílla K's 10 En Route to 3-0 Generals Win
|
Washington Generals starter Manuel Paílla pitched a strong game against the Idaho Falls Chukars at Washington Park, leading the Generals to a 3-0 win. The Generals bumped their record to 43-37 with this latest triumph.
Paílla was in the zone all game. He frustrated Idaho Falls hitters while giving the Generals 8.1 innings of quality work. Paílla threw 114 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 10 punchouts.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Paílla, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
